well. no guarantee with radio reception. ive battled reception problems by switching headlights.
but i do like my cerwin vega amp
and no need for a line out converter as cerwin vega uses only speaker level inputs

Go over to the audio classifieds and grab that BT2180 amp that Tundra is selling. That's ur best shot at keeping FM. T
2010blueultra has a set of BT104(7.1 adapters) and I have a set of BT7.1's that would put your buddy right at his $400 mark. He would keep fm and have a good sounding setup. He would need the PAC SNI35 to convert over to RCA's tho.

I just set him up with some hertz ecx 6.5s with a good Kenwood 600w. And all items for install. Setup should sound really nice. Nothing fancy like some of us crave but it will definitely sound good that is for sure.
