pics speak oodles.

are you talking about stock wiring? There's really nothing in that fairing that can be removed or even relocated without some major work. Yes, I agree. Up to the 15 models, the RG is a royal PITA for removal and reinstallation.

The majority of the factory wires on my RG got "Placed, with persuasion", behind the hooks. That really cleaned up the area and I don't have to fight around it anymore. Not sure what year bike you have but I have a 09 and here are some things my mechanic buddy showed me.
1. No need to remove the windshield. Leave it on the fairing
2. Pull the head lights out before putting the fairing back on. Makes "Hooking" it way easier.

I have to pull the headlights, he doesn't. He grabs the fairing low, tilts it, and bam its on. It amazes me overtime I watch him do it.

Other than the turn signals I find my 12RG fairing pretty easy to RR.

I use Velcro straps. They're 8-10 inches long. One end loops through itself. Then I'm not wasting zip ties every time I'm in and out of the fairing.

That's all you can do, move and wire tie.
Although I'd love to go through there with wire cutters and remove most of them. Probably not a good idea though......

When I swapped my handlebars, decided to take advantage of the open access to everything under the fairing. Yes, this is a FLHX, but wanted to show what a little time, patience and tie-wraps can do...believe it took about an hour from start to finish.

Sorry the pic's showing upside-down (fk'n technology).

Cheers!
