I just don't want to see this great audio forum get to the dark place it was once before. And for those who weren't here it was brought on by an overbearing Vendor. Not sure this forum could survive another hit like that.

The flip side to sales is the "audio enthusiast" here (me) who really just enjoy chatting audio! With whoever

(No need to mention prices)
With the mark ups we all know are there, due diligence for the buyer is their sole responsibility as well. If vendor A sells for $75 less than vendor B, then all hell breaks loose and so forth. If anyone is concerned about a pm'd price, any of us who have been in the loop will be happy to let anyone know if the price is fair throughprivate message, and leave it at a yes or a no answer. The end goal is solid product at FAIR pricing.

You will have plenty of room above the Head unit for mounting that amp.
The Hertz HCX 165 will mount to the outside of the pods were the OEM speaks are. The only mod you will have to do is remove the locating tab and the speakers will sit flush.
If you want to mount them on the INSIDE of the pods you will have to do some trimming to get them to fit properly but mounting inside isn't necessary for the HCX

I would love to see you guys create a sticky for a good/great 2 speaker system and then a good/great 4 speaker system. Maybe a system under $1000 and a system over $1000.

I understand that each year components change, but it would give everyone a starting point. They can then research the prices themselves and PM the vendors from this forum for prices.

I love this forum and the knowledge it brings. I have to pull the trigger and purchase a system soon.

Thanks guys

I think that would be an EXCELLENT idea. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a system right around $1000 and would love to hear other peoples opinions on my choice.
