I have sealed lids so can't comments on bags but I have this on my fairing and so far the water beads off the cloth no problem

I never once lost a speaker due to water and been in some serious storms more than once. Last year i was at rainconia and forgot to open bag to get water out of speaker. It was a funny looking sight when water started misting everywhere to beat of music.

I didn't loose a speaker but I had 4 inches of water in the bottom of my bags (and I'm not exaggerating) that's why I bought the SBD lids, sealed tighter than a gnats @$$ now. No leaks and I've tested them
