I have this beautiful painted inner fairing, but my radio mount kit looks like a$$. What are my options for a better looking mount? I have the means to get it painted, but it still doesn't fit as well as I would like. Appreciate the help guys.

That Carbon Fiber kit would look sick! The front of the trim panel seems to be textured, but if the back is smooth it could offset any issues with long term adhesion.

Would love to see any finished photos.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe I could find something like that material, that would be a close match to the diamond pattern in my gauges.

 

V-Twin Audio makes a really nice face plate, call and ask for Allen and ask him to send you a pic of a closeup of just the face plate

Get a piece of black acrylic and make one the matches the size you have. The shinny black acrylic will match the radio. For the size you need, a plastic fabrication shop might give it to you. If you don't have the means to do it yourself, that piece would be no more than $20 cut and routed. If you don't have a plastic fabrication house close, you can buy it precut online.

Is V-Twin the best?
I looked at the V-Twin and it did look real nice.
I guess I can ask them but is the V-Twin one paintable?

Was also looking a the V-Twin Rain cover but @ $86 it's triple the other 3 options I'm aware of.
