communication radios
Intercom question.I am new to the intercom headset idea.I have no idea what type and brand is a good, trusted and tested way of radio communication for two or more riders in a group. Not sure about settling for battery operated radios for all day trips. It seems cheap enough to install a small regular cb radio and maybe have to get a little creative with the antenna, speaker and talk button? Dealership suggested an expensive package in which i must wire controls on my handlebars...I tried a blue tooth once and it was great...until i hit second gear and then its useless.Im on a 2011 road king so i dont have the dash board of most touring bikes with accessory outlets.Suggestions? Thanks.

This what I use. Streams phone music. Operates as a intercom. Works with .5,.75 or full helmets. Battery last longer than a day. Was just on a 10 hour trip no issues.
