Help! need boom update 1.19.0

For the 6.5 Rushmore HU software version 1.19.0 can be found here.
For the 4.3 Rushmore HU software version 1.19.0 can be found here.
After installing software version 1.19.0 you will want to reset the HU using the pre-calibration reset instructions from Biketronics.
The pre-calibration reset does not affect the software version. It will remove all user setting made to the HU and put them back to factory defaults. This will include GPS destination. Here's a good thread on exporting and importing user created destinations and maps.

Simply put, software versions newer than 1.19.0 degraded sound quality coming from the stock Rushmore HU. On bikes with upgraded audio systems the reduction in SQ is more noticeable do to the fact that it is being amplified. Newer versions have also interfered with the effectiveness of Biketronics Line Leveler. To date, using the BT LL along with software version 1.19.0 and a stock flash has produced the best overall SQ using the stock Rushmore HU.

I hate to re up an old post but...
I havent upgraded my software since two years ago.I have a Level IV from soundz customz with the Arc audio amp and FOCAL speakers. Ive been afraid to flash the software since I had it installed for fear of fookin something up.
If I flash it with a new zip drive will it mess up the settings on my system?

I would call Soundz and ask them about the software versions that match their install strategy as it is a bit different for ARC, RF, BT, J&M, Soundz, etc....
I think the Soundz website states that they recommend a "Flash" for 2 amps and 8 speaks to flatten out the EQ curve but not sure how the Software updates might impact that strategy. Of course the MOCO could potentially have intentional changes in their software updates that have a negative impact to aftermarket audio, thus an attempt to drive folks to remain attached to HD Boom products.
Check w Soundz, to see if the various software versions have impacted their recent installations.
Just a thought.
T.
