Well I set them by ear, I disconnected the rear channel, and set the volume to 3/4 and set the gain to 9 o clock, sounds good in the garage, will need to road test on week end

If you have a DMM I would set your gains using that method at 20vac or lower with bike running. That will give you 200watts at 2ohm and the Kappas max are 225 with 90rms if I remember correctly on the rms

Can you speak English please. Lol, you mean it gets distorted in upper gains or power surges out of control
Distorts past 1/3 gain on the few setups I've used it with. Plus, harsh sounding at higher volumes. Haven't run into anyone that's complained about upgrading that amp yet.
BUT...power-for-dollar it's hard to beat. Great budget amp, have used it myself in the past.

thats the best part of this forum... all the input from everyone for budget systems... because guys like me would probly stay stock if everyone recommended only the high-end stuff. way outta of my league, especially with gf wanting upgrades as well on hers. every dollar spent is doubled when she likes what i do to my ride. both of our budget systems are reliable, loud and clear at hiway speeds. one more upgrade left to do.... her hu
thanks again to all the guys here!
