Ok, so my last post I wasn't very pleased with my speaker decision. I then had one J&M and one i57-2 in the the kids trying to do a side by side comparison. The J&M was clearly the louder of the 2, but the i57-2 was the cleaner more crisp of the 2. I just finished the install of the 2nd i57-2 and they sure do wake up as a pair and they might outshine 7.1 in the fairing. I will say this with pleasure, it's a much more refined sound now compared to before. Here's a few photos of the i57-2's installed. I want to post a video, but the one I have of the J&M's isn't a good video and I'm not sure if it will present well.

 

Those HAT 5x7 lid speakers are pretty stiff, it took mine about 10-15 hours to break in pushing them with a HW RS-400, with you pushing them with a 4180, yours should break-in a little quicker. Enjoy
