Hey Guys
The head unit I bought is a Sony Mex-MT70BT and puts out 5 volts pre-amp out.

Looking at my Arc Moto 600.4 spec sheet, it shows a max volts of 4 volts
It reads: RCA Input Voltage -200mV-4.0V

With my head unit putting out 5 volts, will this affect or hurt anything or cause tuning issues on this amp???

I am really trying to learn more about this stuff and was looking at and comparing specs on both the amp and head unit when I saw this and wanted to make sure I was not going to mess something up.

 

5v pre-out = Good!!!

 

^ You won't even see 5v till the last few clicks on the volume anyway depending on the source used. USB tends to be far less than CD.

Very true Bro! My whole thing with the 5V preout is less noise induced into my system because I can lower my amp gains. Less gain = Better SQ!

Full steam ahead as planned,

I went with the Hawg wired radio install kit And controller.

Most stuff should be here in the latter part of the week, The only thing that may hold off till Monday is the 8000 series Stinger RCA cables.

I'm not really sure if those make a difference, over just a good set of RCA connectors, But after listening to Haze, Gann, Sly and UltraNutz, I decided that I'm not going to let a $50 set of connectors compromise a $2000 system
