I came to the audio section to answer a few questions about upgrading to a Boom amp and rear speakers I was looking at used and a used set of Hog Tunes front speakers I already had. Huge thanks to everyone on this forum, especially SBates08, Gannicus and Haze324 for suggesting a cost friendly setup and walking me through it. I finished the bike up Friday, and gave it a shakedown run into work this morning, with awesome results. My audio is loud andclear at 80 miles an hour. Here is the setup for anyone contemplating upgrading without breaking the bank: Rear-Kicker KSC674 6 3/4 ; Crutchfield $85 Front- Kicker KSC674 6 ¾; Crutchfield $85 including the adapter rings Amp- Power Acoustik RZ4.2000D;SonicElectronix $105 Wiring- Best Buy $25 Polyfill- Meijer-$3
Total= $303!!

Ha! Not only that. A $300 buck system that will blow the boom system out of the water! Congrats bro! Enjoy your new system. When you're ready to upgrade . We'll be here! lol
Yessir I believe we told you so. I'm just glad you took the advice given and didn't waste it on trying to hook up that Boom crap.
The hook has been set now. You will want even more later on and now you know exactly where to come to for great advice.
Can I use the Bt 6.5 adapters for the kickers? Or the Kappas
The surround on the BT speakers are inverted which allows for the shallow adapter. You will want to make sure a different speakers will have clearance for the surround and the tweeter before installing.

Thanks Bert, Bt sound blown? And will get them to looked at, but have kickers and kappas coming
