Are the frequency switches on the amp both on full pass or High pass?

Edit
If the voltage is different from the LOC to amp you will have a different tone coming out of the amp to the speakers possibly causing the difference in sound even if the output voltage of the amp is set the same the input voltage to the amp via the LOC being off a little will cause a sound difference
I just turned the pots like the manual said found the sweet spot but couldn't get the front channels to sound decent. Can I it put a DVM on the outputs of the line converter? What would be the process. Thanks..

Yes you can use a DMM on the out put side of the LOC and adjust while playing a 1k test tone.
POSITIVE lead on the center rca pole and negative on the outer ring
I am trying to remember what the output voltage on the output of the LOC I used on the last set up that was similar to yours.I want to say it was around 2.5 VAC
I have the numbers in my notes at home and I am stuck at work till 10pm.

My job really cuts into my day too. I am going to measure the rear channels which sound great and set the front channel to the same voltage. i report the results.

BLUE POINT 586 DMM

Using a 1k -10db at 3/4 volume was the happy spot on the head unit (not showing any distortion)
The line out converter was set with same test tone with 1.01 volts (11oclockish) before showing any distortion.
Amp was showing distortion at 20 volts with a clean input signal. I wound up setting the amp at 17.3 vac which was 75 watts rms per the manufacturer.

Note :When Using a stock Radio Sounds HU the Arc 125.2 amp is just about the biggest amp you will be able to fit on top of the HU without any modifications
Is the SNI 35 now the LP3-4? If not, are they the same? How do you adjust the line converter if setting gains by ear?

I could not tell you if the sni 35 and the lp3-4 are the same just in different configuration as I have not used the LP3-4

As for setting the gains by ear I would suggest setting the LOC around the 11 to 12 o'clock position and then proceed with your ear setting.
