Cool Hertz mpx_165.3 & JL_HX280/4

Just installed the Hertz mpx165.3 being ran by a JL hx280 4ch bridged to 2ch. All I can say is WOW !!!!! This is the best sounding set of speakers I had in a while. In my opinion they put my focal krc 165 to shame. Don't get me wrong my focals were a great speaker but these just have a much more solid sound to me. For the jl amp it pushes the Hertz speakers very well all day long with no problems at all. The jl amp also is for marine use so it has a IPX6 water resistance rating. This is what really pushed me towards the jl amp over others.

Here are some pictures of everything , and I am trying to record a short video for you guys. The only thing is my smartphone does not do it any justice.

funny how we all prefer different thing

I personally don't like the Millie's and love the KRC's but then I prefer the TM400 over the 600.4

Cool you're enjoying it, that's what it's all about after all

Hmmm Maybe it's the JL amp Bunker? I feel the same way you do after having both speakers. Gonna have to check out that amp!!

Default Hertz mpx_165.3 & JL_HX280/4

If seen a lot of people using that jl amp but it is only 50x4 at 4 ohm and 140x2 at 4 ohm bridged is it that under rated?

JL will be next on my list if my current doesn't work out (quick test makes me think I'll be just fine ) but I'll go with a 600/4 in the bag if it comes down to it.
