Upgrade Stage 1 to Stage 2?

Just throw out some specifics like budget, sled, and whatever audio goals u have, short and long term, and these guys will take u under their wings to meet your objectives.
U will be surprised what u will be able to accomplish, regardless of your current audio knowledge. A year ago I did not know what an Ohm was and now I have Ohm pajamas and also audio wiring diagram wallpaper in my bedroom.

I was working on a tight budget myself about 6 months ago... I only had about $350 to spend.. and had lit no clue what to look for or where to go for it. I lucked out when i found a forum member actually had a shop near me. He put a Very good system in my bike for the money. Leaps and bounds better than what was in there. Something to keep in mind though.. if your planning on a whole big system.. that being a 4 speakers setup or more.. thats gonna change what type of amp and speakers you should buy now.. A good recommendation is listen to these guys on here.. trust where they lead you.. and believe me when is say this.. and extra 100 dollars goes a long way when it comes to audio in your bike brother.

Thanks Zip. Think I'll go with the Biketronics system that was recommended here. The more I looked into it the more appealing it looked. It's what I was looking to end up with when finished. I'll just hold off for now and put some money away, probably end up doing the whole system including rear lids this winter. I knew this would happen, I only wanted better fairing speakers and now I'm going to get a entire new system. :/. Funny how that happens. Lol
A lot of good information from knowledgeable people on these forums. I'm glad I came here. Thanks guys

There are people selling the 6.5 for $1,000 to $1,500 on ebay. You can install one helluva system for that amount. I installed what is considered a buget system on my 2009 Streetglide. Sony 310BTX, SS PN4.1000D, 4 Infinity Kappas, hand controls. Loud and Clear. About $515 not counting the speaker pods for the lower fairings. Sold the stock HK head unit for $275. So my out of pocket? $240. Are there better systems out there? Yes. Am I happy with my system? Abso..f..ing..lutely. I'm not looking to compete with my system. I wanted something that I could hear clearly on the highway and I have it. Good luck on your quest.
