I don't mind going with a 1-4 but I really want one that is made for 8g and not 0/1g

Most your power distribution are intended for 4 in 8 out for example and are fused. If you run separate inline fuse holders you can run a ground distribution block. Stinger makes 8 in and 8 out among many others. I have one in the basement. Most these are intended for 10'+ runs and that's why they go 4 in 8 out as a commonly found one. Thanks, I didn't think of looking at the ground block. Am running a separate fuse block.
