Zero interference with this amp.

 

Just an FYI on the 4 channel. I tried EVERYTHING to get that amp to perform in the motorcycle environment with the help of some of the guys here too, and it is simply under powered for them. On a positive not, it does well in a car or truck with equally spec'd speakers.

I painted and installed a fairing for a buddy that has 4 Kicker 5.25's rated at ~ 45w RMS I'm gonna try it on that. Currently there is a 30 yr old realistic 80+80w amp on it, so I guess it should be better than that lol. We'll see

 

So I have a brand new PBR300x4 awaiting install. You are making me rethink that decision. Should I return it and opt for something else? Suggestions that don't break the bank? What amps do you have left?

BT476 - 4" Biketronics Speaker Kit (2 speakers in fairing)
Infinity Reference 612m 6.5" 225-Watt 2-Way Marine speakers in Rear Draginfly pods

 

For roughly the same money you can get an Soundstream PN1.1000D PICASSO NANO amp with alot more power. I'm sure the guru's here will have other suggestions.

Honestly with your speakers the amp you have will work fine I would think. Just keep the gain set correctly. For a different amp you would really need to start from scratch anyway.

 

At over 10" long I'm not sure i have room in my old style fairing for that?
