Default AMP Power wire 2016 FLTRXS

I am getting ready to install my Biketronics 2 channel amp. I know I need battery power (and the power on trigger but that is all set). When running the power wire from the fairing to the battery are any of you able to get it into the cloth/wire loom or are you putting it in its own loom or are you just tucking it behind the bundle out of sight for the short distance along the frame in front of the gas tank?

I put mine inside the plastic covered channel under the tank that follows the top of the frame.
Tank comes off in 5 min. Just make sure you are low on fuel and hold on tight. The gas might slosh in tank and take off on you.

What Timbo said. Here's are some pics. Run a negative wire while you are at it so the amp can be grounded directly to the battery. BT doesn't supply long enough ground wire so I used 10g and connected it to there wire under the fairing. The 10g won't plug into the BT amp. If you are trying to keep FM then run the positive wire down one side of the channel and negative down the other side.

Look at your third picture. See the black loom where the wires come out of that plastic channel where I plan on running my wires. I was asking about the part where that black loom is outside of the plastic channel. The black loom is visible from the side. Did you try and get your wires in that? Did you try to hide your wires behind that?

I didn't try running two 10g wires through the factory loom, so I ran it under and in it's own loom. Then through the little loop marked in the small red oval. You could also run it through the the plastic channel marked in the large red oval if you wanted to and wire tie it. There are several possibilities.

Just remove the tank, pop off the flat plastic cover, tie strap the power wire to the main harness, snap the cover back on, zip tie it,, and GTG!
