Default Focal Speakers 2015 Limited

My local dealer has Focal speakers on sale. I was thinking about a set, but they told me the 2014-2015 HD radio doesn't have a flash for the Focal to make them sound right. I have a 2015 limited. Anyone have any experience with this? I was going to get speakers and amp. I'm not sure why a flash would make a difference. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. They did say they would work but the install wasn't plug and play and the sound wouldn't be what I would expect because there isn't a correct flash for the radio.

The issue is the EQ curve in the Rushmore bikes, it's set to make the Boom stuff sound good. Unfortunately it plays hell on anything with real power.

Several options, the easiest and cheapest is the Biketronics Line Leveler (sticky all about it above).

I called Biketronics today, sounds like they have a nice plug and play system to fix the issue.

PM me if you want a package. They may have Focal on 'sale' but my pricing might be better! I can put an amp & speaker package with the BT stuff as well.

And FYI, did a setup with two pair of the PC165, Arc 600.4 amp on a 2014 SG with tour pack/pods and the BT355 line levelers. Sounded nice, not a lot of people talk about the PC165's and go with the Hertz Mille or HCX in that price range...was pleasantly surprised.

I was up to the Ohio bike week today and there's a vendor that has the focal component speakers upfront the focal rear speakers a 600 W but for work amplifier the harnesses installed with the reflash for the system for around $1500 installed what do you have as far as packages that are comparable to that

I see that you are new to the forums and can't send PM's yet. Welcome to the forums.

I sent LL a PM letting him know you are looking for a package deal.

I the meantime what year and model bike are you going to updating the audio on?
