How do I add pins to the 35 pin radio connector?
Hi Guys
Looking for some help here. I am installing the NIM module on my '10 FLHTK. Can someone assist me with adding the socket pins to the 35 pin AMP connector. I tried just pushing them in through the top of the connector but they will not lock in place. There must be a trick to it. I looked at the manual and naturally the AMP connector example is not the radio connector.
I appreciate the help.
BTW... who ever the engineer was that created the mounting set up for the radio must have had is ears ringing when I had the radio in and out. No wonder the shop get so much money to work on these bikes. It did not have to be that hard. They should make every Harley engineer work 2 years in a dealer shop before they hire them.
Thanks for the help.

molex connector/deutch pin
there are a couple of good videos on youtube about disassembling the connector housings to add and remove pins. i watched a couple times before i did my handlebar swaps. quite good info, made my job alot easier. make sure you mark locations of each color and draw a diagram before you start
good luck
