Default 2014 Roadglide amp grounding help

OOPS 2015 Have a buddy coming over later with what sounds exactly like a grounding problem on his newly installed BT amp. Not sure on a Roadglide, but other than the battery, where is a good grounding spot on the frame around the front of the bike? I think he used fairing mounting bracket and i see here that several people have had issues using that. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

I got as far as the title and said IMPOSSIBLE, CAN'T BE DONE! no RG in 14

I was told when I started this audio journey to always ground to the battery, I have had no issues.

I second that... NO RG in 2014
BUT I just did install the BT4180 in my 2015 and I chose to ground to the battery. I did speak to Bill at BT on this and he said that should be fine but they also recommend to remove one of the radio hold down bolts and ground to it. back the bolt out and slide the ground connector under the head of the bolt and tighten down.

I realize that. Can't edit title.
Thanks, will try radio bolt first.

I've always went to the battery but took Bills advice and used the radio bolt this time. Not a lot of miles but no issues so far. There's not a lot of room, I just bent the post lug on the ground connector and worked like a charm.

So on my 15 Shark I pulled out my trusty Fluke meter and did some ohm readings from different points and I found that the inner fairing mount bolt is as good a ground as to the battery, or to the frame where the grounds all tie together just to the front of the battery.

take it for what its worth.
