Default Hertz Milli Pro Sound system

Got a 2015 cvo rg ultra. Came stock with boom stage 1. Within a week I swapped speakers to Infiniti kappa which was a big improvement but wasn't 100% happy. So after research and talking to a number of installers I hooked up with Cameron Johnson owner of Baddazz Bikes in Temple TX. Rode the bike there, stayed overnight while they installed two pair of hertz milli pro components. Used woofer drivers up front and mid drivers in tour pak, and installed a diamond micro v4. The sound literally blew me away. Best money I've spent. I can hear every single sound, ring, noise at 100mph 6 dots from max and speakers will allow me to goto 2 dots from max.

I bought stage 2 grills and had the hertz tweeter mounted in them and they grill mounted the other tweeters into the hertz grills for tour pak speakers.

The tweeter/grill combo worked out great!!

Those are some high end components -- curious why you went with that amp and not something with more juice like the Arc 600.4? There's a member here who tried a similar combo and reported it wasn't loud enough.

Where did you get the speaker grills and how much were they?

Haze do you think because he running the components vs the coaxial he may be having better luck with the Micro 4v2?

Quite possibly! The Tweeters are bigger on the Component set, they should play a bit louder.

Figured as much vs the integrated tweeter on the coaxial.

Cameron recommended the diamond amp over the arc, the diamond amp is digital and sound is crystal clear. If you click on the Facebook story link that's a video of my bike done at badazz bikes.

Yeah I heard the video, that's why I was curious with the money spent why this vendor would recommend a lesser powered amp as I am fairly certain the Arc is not an analogue amp either and only cost a few bucks more, and puts out more power. I'm not knocking the set-up....I think it sounds good, install is very clean as well...but this forum is somewhat educational so if someone recommends one amp over an other it would be great to know WHY so that members can make an informed purchase.

I do think the fairing grill mod is tight work.

Sweet, your install looks great. Can you post the model numbers of the 2 sets. I would like to read the specs on the individual drivers.

Maybe it was to protect the speakers from getting over driven ? I know if I have more juice left, I sometimes get tempted to using it which doesn't always have a happy ending for the wallet.
