Default Hertz ECX or Infinity Kappa's?

Ok I think I've got it narrowed down to upgrading to the Cerwin Vega B4 amp. My other dilemma is I currently have Hertz ecx 165.5 in fairing now. Would the Kappa's sound better or not worth it? I see so many good reviews with the Kappa's and CV amp. I'm currently running the Hertz with a Kenwood Kac 1804. Thanks JP

The Infinity kappa's with the Cerwin Vega amp is a much better set up than the set up you have now. You can't run the Kappa's with your present amp as they are two ohm speakers. The Kenwood is only compatible with 4 ohm speakers and only rated 45 X 4.
Nice little amp but very weak for a bike.

The Cerwin Vega with the Hertz speakers will sound much better than the Kenwood but not nearly as good as the Cerwin Vega with the Infinity speakers. The Kappa's and the B4 are definitely worth it.

Thought you could run 2 ohm speakers on a 4 ohm amp, just not the other way around.

Steaks, you can go up....not down.

OP - are you only running 2 speakers? If so, get the Cerwin B2. The B4 bridged is only 4 ohm stable, it also only has HPF on the front set of channels and bridged is also way too much juice for the ECX.

Bates in your other thread provided a great recommendation on the B2. If you are using four speakers get the B54.

Ok I will go with the Cerwin Vega and Kappas. CV B2? Is it worth using the BT line out control? Thank You!

Yes 2 speakers. So get the B2 unless I'm planning on running 4 speakers? How should I set everything on amp? I forgot to mention this is in a 2015. Thanks!!

Yes for the 2015 you will need the Line Leveler from BT.
