Two things:
1. Try setting your gains with a DMM and the bike running. Often what sounds good parked, you can't hear the distortion once the bike is running and the added volts from being on
2. Turn down your AVC. The spike in voltage to turn the radio up when amplified will cause lead to a distorted signal

well....
i am kinda new to the audio scene as my flhtp came without a radio. i installed a aquatic av hu and a pair of jm(crap) 7.25s in front. i want to try the kappas and a cv 4 ch amp for fronts and add a pair to the lowers as well. im confused with the 2v line out on my head unit. other hu have 4v? any help would be appreciated. i was planning to run 6 speakers. the 2 in rear pods are 6.5 gen 3 hogtunes and run them off the built in amp in the hu

but that thread is waaayy outta my league. i just wanna plug in a good amp to 4 kappas and ride. or have someone do all the fine tuning for me.
