I used foam baffles and clip nuts. They have worked out okay.

 

The tape goes on the speaker box to fairing interface. I put 1 layer of polyfil in the housing. Those boxes look really small to allow air movement but what do I know.

 

Did you put the tape on the top of the speaker tray?

 

I put the tape on the leading edge of the tray where it contacts the lower when you slip it into place. It prevents the two pieces from vibrating together and holds the tray in place during install. I then put one layer of polyfil in before installing the speakers.

 

Thanks did you keep the hole open in the speaker tray or cover it also with the polyfil?

Also what about the 7.1pros in the fairing did you use any polyfil there?
