Why isnt the aftermarket making double din units for Rushmore HD?

The problem with the double din is the stock Hu isn't a true double din. Yes the face looks like it but the unit behind it isn't a true double din. It would require a ground up from a company. I changed mine to a marine unit and what I appreciate the most is being able to have full eq adjustments.

Haze you keeping bringing that fact up , but I and many others would pay to find out what he has done to that stock radio. When everyone else is admitting that line levelers and all other add on tweaks are better than nothing but in same breath saying still not cure all.
My guess is he has opened up stock deck and with diodes, capacitors or some type of master surgery figured out how to bypass hd programming and if he has done so dose the stock deck still have working navigation and engine diagnostic capabilities along with all stock radio functions .
Just asking....

Classified for sure. We do it as a hobby, these guys do it to compete and for business.
But I can tell you it wasn't a line leveler, or busting the headunit open.
My point is you can get pretty darn good volume and clarity, and I've heard some nasty sick systems without trying to figure a way to jam a double din in there.
