Default BT4180 & (4) 602's 14 Ultra..?

OK men, I'm about 10 mins away from starting my install..
Big Thanks to LL247 (Jason) for hooking me up with everything I needed,
looks like I got everything I need and all seems good!
For the most part I'm not a total dummy installing amps & speakers..
Questions are..I'm not sure of positive or negative on the speakers or my wires..
The speakers are going in the stock locations with stock wires along with a the BT BO harness.
Also my LL's are they fairly well set or will I need to tweak them, I'm using the stock
6.5 HU.
Thanks,

Black stripe wire is negative

LL's stock are good to go, but I'd double check with a multi meter just to be safe.

I and a couple of others, have set the output volts on the LL a little higher. I think I'm currently at .8 volts at 14/17 volume but like I said, stock works fine.

Something l learned a longgggggg time ago...using a 9 volt battery, connect wires to positive and negative. Touch the wires to the speaker terminals. The cone should push out if the polarity is correct. If it pulls in, you have it reversed.

Well you'd think I'd have a 9v battery somewhere... Not!
So bump back up for which side is hot on these 602's I'm guessing the smaller side...?

I had the same question and called Arc the other night. The larger of the 2 blades is positive.

Yep, HD does crap backwards. I thought I was going nuts - I used to run BT 7.1 in my old bike and they were the same way (+) is small post. Talked to Bill at BT and he explained that since the 7.1 was designed just for Harley they went with the HD convention. Their 6.5s are the opposite (big post is +) because they were designed as a universal fit.

Bill at BT told me that as long as you do both speakers on the same channel the same way it won't matter, just don't do them different.
