Default HogTunes Replacement Speakers for Lowers on 14+ Water Cooled Sleds

Has anyone broken the code on some good replacement speakers for the HT Lower Fairing Speaker kit designed for sleds with "radiator" cooling?
Helped a buddy install an entirely new audio system today including this HT set up and curious if anyone has replaced the HT speakers. Not room in the brake side lower pod for anything but a micro magnet speaker.
Thinking a spacer would be the go to solution but these things are already so damn bulky, hoping someone has found a bad **** low profile speaker that fits without cramping the rider leg space.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Did you happen to measure the depth of the HT speakers?

Maybe one of these tourpak drop in speakers are slim enough to fit.

Not sure about the exact depth but it is pretty slim. If you remember the size of the Boom speakers u put in a recent bonfire, the HT pod speakers are real similar. On top of being slim, the magnet is about the size of a silver dollar, which assists in clearing the liquid coolant reservoir located in the brake side pod.

Thank for the speaker lead!!! I will check those out and report back.

I know that Focal just came out with a sick slim speaker but could only find it in component and also really don't think it would be a good idea to put that very damn high dollar option our there in the elements.

If there is a will there will be a way.

Thanks again Bert!!!

The Polk MM651 are about as good as it gets for speaker depth.

I read on this forum some time ago, a rider moved the reservoir to under the right side cover next to the anti lock brake module, allowing for ample room to mount a speaker. Will have to search to see if I can find the thread, I know he included pictures and kinda a step by step.

Edit - added link to thread with reservoir relocation allowing room for speaker

Awesome! Thank you. Think we will try those then if that does not work may hit the reset button and try to go with some spacers. His torso is 4 feet long and legs 2 feet so he has a little bit of room to spare.

Thanks G!!!
