sorry if this has been asked already. I have a 2012 ultra limited, i am thinking of getting the aquatic av radio for harley,(allowing my to use the org wire harness and maintain all hand controls but add in the rca outs and bluetooth) an alpine pdx f4 amp 100w x4, and using the 2 upper fairing speakers with the adapter ring to go 6.5 and adding the 2 lower fairing speakers again using 6.5 speakers. no rear speakers will be used only the four 6.5 fronts. most places i have looked don't have the speakers on display for you to hear before you buy. don't want to break the bank on $2000 focals, but still want a high end sound. thanks in advance for the help.

 

Arc 602 moto speakers will crank but probably would play better and need more than 100 watts to play at their peek. A sound streem P4 1000 D is pretty cheap but will drive those speakers with plenty of power. The Amp has gain adjustments and high/low filters as well for 4 channel use.

 

What is your budget?

 

after getting the radio and the amp i'm left with 600 for the 4 speakers, or 600 for 2 really good ones,lol

 

if i went with a cheaper amp i could have more for the speakers. the amp is 350 that i found

 

One thing about the Alpine PDX F4 is they are normally underrated in regard to specs. I think you could run two sets of Moto's no problem with that amp. The last birth sheet I looked at on that amp was 166 watts @ 4 ohms. I'd go with the Biketronics 7.1's in the fairing and the Moto 602's in the lowers. Your $600 budget will support both sets.
