Default M103AB amp, any info on these??

My dad got a fairing for his fatboy and comes with double DIN receiver and 2 6x9s and a M103AB amp (Mobile Authority?). It was hooked up according to the previous owner hookups but claimed there was some problems. Ran through a summer with it and would pop a fuse once in a while, the fuse was a glass 2 or 3 or 5 amp thing, I don't know. A few times he had the bike shutdown on him while riding hot days and since its a 2000, I want to replace his circuit breaker just in case but the receiver and amp both run off his ignition switch for main power. the power and ground wire on the amp are pretty small for an amp but I guess its a 100W amp so probably why.
Anyways I want to rewire it all to how it should normally be wired up so I want to run his stereo power and amp remote wire off his ignition switch and amp power and ground right to the battery. I was thinking 12 guage should work for the amp even though the harness wire for amp is smaller guage. Any idea what size fuse I should use for the amp? I can't find any info whatsoever for this amp.

Thanks

If AB stands for Class A/B you don't want to run that on a bike. You want a class D amp. Class A/B pull too much power and probably the cause for your issues.

I agree with my friend HAZE. Class D on a Bike. Not a very well known amp and not a lot of info out there on that amp.
