Default Installed BT 7.1 pods.

I was thinking about adding the 7.1's for a while now! I wasn't sure how much better these would be than the ole HT pods that were originally 5.25 and had to widen (dremmeled) to fit 6.5's. I Had quite a few speakers in there...5.25.. I had...HT's... R.F. Power... Rainbow 5.25's...then... 6.5's... basic Focals...Arc 6022's...last and best were Titan II's (HAT's)! The 7.1's are well made, bolt holes on 7.1's did'nt line up with HT pods, so mounting them was a PITA using their paper templates that did not quite line up with the pods themselves. Since I had speaker wires running back there already I had to cut the 2 wire leader and crimp plug in terminals after using the ole battery trick to determining which wire was plus and which was neg(wire with stripe was actually neg). They are a little louder and have a little more Bass! I have the Hat 6x9's and the 7.1's running in parallel off a 4180 and dropped the X-over to 60Hz. I can hear and feel the bass in the garage but not so much on the road! I guess my next move is to add an another amp!
