Default Rushmore speaker pod question

What's the deepest speaker you can fit in the pods on the Rushmore. I heard it was 3" but I have to verify before I start this install.

I wouldn't worry about depth as much as which speaker will fit without hitting the grille. Only seen a few that fit and that sound decent. I had some Polk audio mm651's in my pods and they rocked. The infinity kappas fit too but selection is slim.

Running pro audio speakers so speakers hitting the grill is not really a concern. I am however concerned about a speaker being to deep for the pods because the biketronics adapters are not an option.

Mod the pods for the speakers.
There are ways around not having to use the BT BRACKETS

Totally agree. Modify away but just keep into consideration that these pods are primarily a fairing structural element and second a speaker pod so try and keep the ribs and structural stuff in place.
Other than than, cut away!!!!
