Small difference. You're going to want an amp to get the most out of them.

 

IMO you can take a $500 pair of speakers and with the stock Rushmore head unit its gonna sound like crapola.

I am waiting on my set of Kappas to get here, but I threw a pair of JBL GTO638's in mine last year. I was very dissapointed(they sounded better but not good). Put an amp in over the winter and viola! sounds 500% better.

Do yourself a favor and get a decent amp(you dont have to spend stupid money on it, there are a lot of guys running the soundstream PN1000 with very good results and it will set you back less than $150.)

Oh I almost forgot, get the Biketronics BT355 line levelers. They will set you back another 67 bucks with the forum discount but it cleans up the signal from the head unit a ton.

Just adding maybe like a 5% increase in "happiness" you're going to want/need an amp with about - 100 rms to get the full effect of them.
