Great deal!!

Make sure mount the kappas on the inside of the pod and drill out a 2-3 inch port.

The B2 is rated at 250Wx2 at 2 ohms, so you should have plenty of power for the Kappas, I just don't have any experience with the Kappas. I had the B2 hooked up to Moto 602's at 150Wx2 and it was definitely way better than stock. Only changing the amp because the 602's like more power, as much as twice the power.
What amp are you switching to? How do those 602s fit, did you mount them inside the pods?

Very important post right here. If u mount them on the outside of the pods, the kappas will be damaged. And on a severe budget you can not risk this.

I went with a Rockford TM400X2AD that I picked up from Bunker. It pushes 200Wx2, still a chance I might go bigger, but I want to hear everything once it comes together. I'm in the process of pairing the 602's up with Moto 692's in the lids with a PN4.520D bridged at 260Wx2. Too much snow and salt on the roads to make to a dealer to get the stock Ultra flash.

The 602's are mounted on the outside of the pods and using stock grills. So far no problems, but I haven't took the pods out to check yet.

I have the Road Glide do I still need to mount the Kappas inside the pod? If so is there a video specific to the RG?

If not I may have to at least take a bunch of pics when I do mine so as to help the next shark owner.

Also, is there a place for the port that is better than another is closer to the speaker, closer to the front of the faring, sideof pod(pointing toward the middle of the faring) and is 2" or 3" better or should I split the difference and make it a 2.5"?

Crap 1 more question, with the B2 should I run 10 gauge or 8 gauge power wire to the amp?

Sorry for all the questions but I really want to do this right the first time and not have to tear half the bike apart twice.

Thanks again,
Mike

Mike
On RG they drop right in from the front/grill side. Much easier install. Also recommended is that you seal your pods with some silicone.
