Default 6x9' in lids

looking at adding speakers in the lids, my question is should I keep the system all biketronics or order hogtune lids and add hetrz or arc moto 6x9's I've heard good things about all of them. question 2 would be will the 4180 be sufficient to push all 8 speakers?

bt7.1 in fairing, 6.5 titan in lower, 7.1 speaker pods, and then trying to make a decision on the lids with 4180 amp, and sony stereo.

With your system you would be better off with the hog tune lids and the BT 6x9's. All the BT speakers have the same sensitivity ratings and yes you can run all 8 speakers off the BT4180.

I agree with Gan, BT 6x9's would be best if running in parallel! I have a question for Gan, you have had both the Harley lids and the Hog Tune lids, which ones do you like better?

Hey Mike!

Both lids are high quality lids. I would have kept my Hog tunes if my grandson hadn't damaged one of em!! Lol!! I decided on replacing them with the CVO lids simply because I like the Harley emblem on the grills!! Lol... I know it's silly but I get bored really fast. But yeah all jokes aside both are high quality!! I'd buy the Hog tune lids again in a heart beat!!
One good thing about the CVO lids is you can run 5x7's 6.5's and 6x9's in there. (With adapters of course) I like that versatility! A good example is Tailwinds system with those 6.5 focals in the lids. Nice!!

I have full bt setup that you are asking about but aftermarket head unit sounds very good. OF coarse you will run fairing and lowers in parallel and stay away from cycle sounds lids grills fit like crap. Also if you have any plans of changing lid latch's or lid levers do it while putting new lids together.

Can anyone confirm (or not) that the Arc Moto 692s will fit in the Hogtunes lids? Or what adaptor I'd need. Thanks!
