If you are going to use the low level inputs on the amp you will need Line out converter and a short set of RCA cords.

Amp wiring you can use 6 feet of 10gauge wire red and black ,fuse holder and fuse
Or get an 8 gauge amp wiring kit from Wal-Mart for around $20

Some wire ties to clean up the wiring

Does it make a difference whether I use the line out conv. With the rca to the amp. Or use the speaker level inputs on the amp?
Pros and cons
Thanks for the help

I used the speaker level input with the stock HU ( I am using the same amp and speakers as you) it sounded good however when I added my dsx310 head unit and switched to low level it screamed.
I had to lengthen the speaker level harness a bit but other than that it was a easy set up. I also used a 8 gauge wiring kit.
Remember you do not need a turn on wire when using speaker level input. Also the speaker level harness has 5 wires. Pos and neg for each speaker and a ground wire. I didn't use the ground .

So that being said would I be better served with a Line out conv from the h/u to the rca in on the amp?
sorry if these are dumb questions to some, but its new to me and just want to go about it the best and cleanest way.
