Default Audio quality bike started vs not started?

Has anyone actually figured out how to fix the issue where the sound audio is the same with the bike started and not started? Its frustrating to hear how well the stereo sound is when the bike is not running vs running. Is this a flash fix?

Thanks...
Rich

I guess I'm not understanding the problem... you're saying your system sounds better when the bike is not running??? Just a heads up. You might get some interesting responses.

Need more info.
What bike are you talking about?
Is there an amp installed?
Has the HU ever been flashed by the dealer?

Bike is a 2016 SGS. No flash and has the stock bin file. 01_off.bin I have the Micro4 v2 amp with the Biketronics line leveler installed and Hertz 6.5 coax speakers mounted on the biketronics speaker brackets that replace the pods. Thanks...

how are you setting your gains? With your bike off the amp sees just above 12 volts with the bike running 14+ volts, which is likely causing distortion at the same volume on your bikes. Also, you're not getting the most out of those Hertz coax's with the Diamond amp unless you have that sucker bridged....so it's likely you are cranking it too much with the bike running in addition to the 14v's.

Default Audio quality bike started vs not started?

I have noticed the same with my 14 limited.
Sound quality is different. What I am guessing is the bin file off and on have different eq curves.

I have better bass with the bike off than running.

It's the same even on a completely stock system. The EQ files for off vs on are different. Not idea why they did it that way.

And if your using the AVC that will increase the voltage even more.

There's a post somewhere by Bill where he discusses the difference in curves when on an off designed so speakers won't blow at volume/speeds when running.
