Default 6x9s, BAG LIDS, AND RAIN

Probably been covered, but here goes.
Considering bag lids and 6x9s. My question is, if you don't go with a marine speaker or polks and the like, how do you protect them from rain? I ride rain or shine sometimes and am concerned this may be an issue.

Sturgis, the Biketronics 6x9 and adapter is water proof. When I was considering lids I talked to Bill at BT, he said that they ran a garden hose on them with no problem. Also if you go to HAT's (HYbrid Audio Technology's) website they show there speakers in an aquarium where they talk about running water on them with a garden hose. Call BT to verify if you want, plus GREAT SOUNDING 6x9! I have got caught in down pours, I just turn off the stereo and when I got home just turned my lids upside down to drain remaining water out, let it air dry, and they fired right up! NO leakage into bag either!
