My Heritage is now a Softglide!
After I blew my knee out I was not happy wrestling my Streetglide around. I had installed a kick butt stereo and was reluctant to let it go, but I finally traded it in on a Heritage. I really liked the Heritage ride, and so did my knee. Only problem was I missed my tunes! I installed a set of MHAS speakers, which was sufficient for awhile, but I kept thinking about adding a fairing. The price was all that was holding me back, until I read about fairings from The USA Trailer Store.

Now we're talking, short money and some good reviews. I have to say that the quality was more than I expected for such a low price. Sure you need to do some work to get the job done, but I bought the fairing, a head unit, amp, speakers, and assorted install hardware and still got it done for about $650...!
First up, a shot of the completed install.:

The fairing comes with the din opening for the head unit and your choice of two 6x9 or 6.5 speaker holes, or four 5.25 holes. I went with the 6.5s, I think it looks better and they are what I'm used to. I had to open the holes up some, and drill the mounting holes. I also had to install a usb/aux receptacle as the H.U. has rear mounts to prevent water from getting in. Took my first test ride today, it sounds and handles great. Plenty of volume from the B2 amp, and the speakers got a good workout. Hmm, maybe swap out the Leatherpro bags for some hard bags and speaker lids.......LOL!
