I don't have speakers on my crash bars (yet) but I have ran the wires through a piece of stainless braid water line (from the hardware store) to cover up wires running between the fairing an the tank.

 

After reading and researching I decided to drill a hole in the crash bar directly behind the speaker bucket. I then drilled another hole center of the crash bar underneath the frame/fuel tank and ran the speaker wire up the tree with the rest of the wires. I cabled tied them up inside the fairing for the time being until I get a chance to complete the install. I did the lower fairings first figuring they would take the most time. I used HD speaker inserts for the lower fairings. Biketronics 6.5 speakers and HD CVO speaker grills. Everything went together well and made a great looking install. Looks just like the speakers come on the bike from the factory.
