Default Speaker grill questions?

Does anyone make speaker grills with tweeters in them for 09 street glide? I found some for 14 and up that I like but they don't offer them for 09. J&M has some with mids and tweeters but they doing know it they would work with the 6 1/2 speakers and adapter ring.

What are you trying to do? Add additional tweeters and have them on your grills?

Legacy Baggers will make you custom grills and you supply the tweeter of your choice. I've found that many of the small dome silk tweeters will not add much volume overall even when giving them powers, so you gotta think how you are going to power them. Horns, that's another story but they need to go in one of the gauge holes.

Yes I was thinking it might add a little more sound. And was also thinking the other grills would look better. I found some aluminum grills from klock werks I might just go with them.

I've been thinking about some of those horns for the gauge holes, any good brands or recommendations? Partly for looks and of course some added volume. That air temp gauge is worthless and I keep B+ monitored on my PV. I'm thinking they could be wired parallel from the BT 2180, Or maybe just straight from the unused rear channel speaker wires, Or with some kind of crossover from the BT 7.1s? That's what I need the audio experts here for.

I know my biketronics pros have a separate tweeter ring with a crossover that mounts behind the black fabric grill to the inner fairing from inside and the pro speaker is then screwed to that tweeter ring.

Technically it is 2 parts but I'm not sure if biketronics would sell that separately to you.
Can't hurt to call them!

Those are 250.00 horns. It's not that easy with horns where you can just add them. He's using them with midrange drivers that only play up to 10khz so you need tweeters to play the rest of the freqs. Also those ST35's are 109db, you can't/shouldn't run them parallel or it's just too bright....and that's with midrange drivers not to mention with a coaxial that already play in that freq range.

Yeah, you can tell somethings missing at the end of the video just before he tuns it down.

Does anyone ever record audio from the bike itself running 80 mph on the highway?
I see everyone records while the bike rides away but that seems apples and oranges to me.
Record ac/DC at 80 mph. I'd love to hear that.

I don't have a go pro, but my guess is that if I whipped out my iPhone to record at 80mph the mic on my phone would pick up more wind than music....so that wouldn't be too accurate of a recording either.

If anyone has a good way to do it, count me in.
