Yeah this stuff is expensive for sure! You can do it for 3 bills but you may lose some or all of your FM.

Now that set up looks more my speed. I'm not looking to provide the sound system for the Football Stadium. LOL Would I use the stock speaker wire? Is there a specific mounting kit that should be used with that amp? Thanks again for the suggestions.

Did you see this plug and play Biketronics Package? It's in the $800 range with the forum discount. And a Lifetime warranty.

Same wiring kit in post 5. Use industrial Velcro and mount the amp on top of the radio.

If you use 4 ohm speakers in parallel it's possible to use a single RF PBR300x2, but you won't be able to fade front to rear.

I installed a Sony stereo with 6.5" speakers and adapters in a friends 03 ultra. He used velcro to put the provided remote on the dash to change mode, volume etc. works fine really and a very good upgrade over HD radio. Well in his case it puked so no real choice. Yes he can hear it at speed just fine. By the way with a decent stereo, and good 6.5" speakers its a good way to start, build on if you want more without breaking the bank, a piece at a time . I've spent a bucket load of money as most have. Start out with a few good pieces and build to your own taste.
