Default 6.5 harley radio out and biketronics bt1014 radio install kit going in.

Hey guys, in the process of Putting in a sony 310 radio and using the biketronics kit. I have a 2015 street glide btw. So far i have the oem 6.5 radio out. Im painting the biketronics trim piece gloss black so it can match the inner fairing. The splash guard looks good as does the rest of the kit.
Will update as i go along. Any questions and ill try to answer them, as i havent seen anyone post up a thread about the install process.

Anyone want to buy a radio???

It comes with that clear plastic wrap for over the radio. Vapor barrier? I apray painted the front of the front aluminum piece. It comes as the color of the oem harley radio. Flat black. I have gloss black inner fairing, so i painted it.

So this is what i had to take out/off. The vent and the speedo/rpm gauge. Also took out the amp tray above the oem radio.

Here is the radio installed and bolted down. This is without the spash guard on.

Here is the radio with the splash guard on.

That looks good. Does the splash guard seem like it will hold tight?
