Default Install questions

Question installing the Kenwood 998 HU/Retro Kit.
From what I understand the Blue/Yellow - Black - Red & Yellow are the only wires coming from HU that connect to the Retro modual?

Mount the amp to the vinyl cover over the HU using Velcro?

Everything's installed. Had a little problem finding out where to connect the remote startup wire for the amp. So I used the cig lighter and got a pop through the speakers each time the ignition was turned on. With a little help from Haze I found that the blue/white (power control wire) labeled "P.CONT" is the wire to use to turn on the amp. No more popping.

The next step is to go into the Kenwood 998 setting and do some tweaking. I'm going to start with these settings and see how it sounds.

Thanks Mike. Do you by chance have the 998 audio setting you use for the BT speakers?
