I zip tie the input from the rear USB port to my wiring harness so I can change it out quickly. I ride several different bikes and use my personal USB to tune other bikes and demo a new install. So, I found this to be an easy out of the way solution. It's been there in the rain before with no issues as well.

for a "couple" of bucks you can find 6 ft USB extension cable. I ran (2!!! for previous Pioneer HU; both in the back)under tank, etc to under my seat. thru sleeve in seat I can grab the thumbdrive and change out.
Mark's suggestion is great as well - I would just throw a roll of electric tape in the back and tape connection for potential water penetration. Hell, I even did that underneath my seat.

The customizaable screen is definitely a plus.

I like these options also.

This is interesting. Is this something like a play list, but in folder form?
yes - kind of playlist. See this thread:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/audio...corrected.html

also - you might need like f.e. MP3Gain and MP3Tag software programs to a. set the gain on all songs to the same Db's and set all the mp3 tags correctly... including titles, artist, genre, etc.
I will setup the programs on my dropbox and post a new thread today. the Exe's I got here are so far ad aware free (I am in the Software industry)

Mark, AAWAV, thanks for the USB locations. I'm also considering running an extension into the tour pak.

Definitely looking at this. I currently have albums ripped to a memory stick, but would like to have a stick with only favorites on it.
I found the new thread you created.
