Default Lower Fairing Speaker Pods

Has anyone used these?

What would be the disadvantage of using these versus the CVO speaker pods?

They could work. But in my opinion they don't look very good on the bike. Takes away from the natural lines of the lower fairing. The CVO pods are much cleaner.

Does anyone make good aftermarket pods or is it best to go with the factory CVO pods?

These a good quality pods from the fairing factory. But I think the CVO pods might be a little cheaper. Have not checked the price in a while.
