I think it depends on the speaker that you are using, some speakers need to breath sort a say may also prevent them from running hot, others sound better in a inclosure.

I have the BT brackets with a set of Focal 165 KRC in my fairing - I did the Poly, found the sound better without the Poly so I removed it - will never go back to the pods again...

Everyone
Thanks for the replies.I see everyone that is running the brackets have higher end speakers. As of this time I am only running kappa 62.11 in the pods with stock HU and a 1000d
I am just trying to figure out if the Kappas would be better on the bracket or in the pods

After all the trouble I went to removing the pods, I'll be darned if I'm going to put them back on. I spent more time than I wish to admit too, trying to put together the right combination of tools, etc. getting to those two pesky bolts that are down under the radio mounting frame. Once I figured things out, the second pod only took 15 - 20 minutes to remove. For those who are about to attempt removing the pods I will sell you the tool combination that will work.....for say.....$10.00. LOL!!!

Pussies.

Pod Knuckle is like a badge of honor, showing you've been there, in the trenches, and beat it.
