who has the best sony dsx-s310btx settings
So i got my sony 310 delivered today and now just waiting on my biketronics 1014 radio install kit for it. In the mean time though, who has the perfect settings for this radio? I want to be able to install and calibrate it square away.
Also, since its an aftermarket radio, i imagine that the sound and volume should be the same when the bike is off or on. Unlike the stock radio. So i should be able to set gains and stuff with the bike off????
Thanks guys.

Use the remote to turn off the demo mode at the main menu. Here you can also set the clock and background colors etc. after that's done.
1. Set your Eq7 preset to XPLODE
2. Listening position to "ALL"
3. Fader and Balance "Center"
4. HPF Frequency 80 Hz
5. slope 1
6. DM + Advanced "ON"
7. Dynamic loudness "Off"
8 Rear Bass enhancer "Off"
9. Subwoofer @ 0db.

The amp is a pn4.1000. As of right now i have the kappa 62.11. Im thinking i want those hertz mille pro 165.3. Just waiting for gann to give a lil more of a review as well as kesean (spelling? )
So even with an aftermarket radio, the bike has to be on huh?

I think if you are going with that amp you'll enjoy the Moto's more. The 1000D while it's super loud, and has a real warm sound but it lacks a bit in high end SQ which is the highlight of Hertz speakers. The Moto's are much more bass friendly and pair up better with that specific amp. That's my experience with the 1000D and Motos vs. HCX 165's.

It's not just signal voltage.....it's actual voltage (battery power) to the amp. When the amp has more power going to it, it can produce more. Bike on = more juice to the amp. When you see the specs on an amp it will say things like 140w at 14v. That's battery power.
