Default Kw miswiring message

Rode to a friend's house yesterday and everything was fine, 10 hour later I get a miswiring, check wiring and turn off message ok the head unit. This morning I ran new wires for the speakers which is what I've read is most likely to cause that message.. That didn't help any, I reset the HU, tried moving around wires to see if I had another short and still nothing. Then I noticed the amp isn't powering on, maybe because the remote from the HU is powering it on.. Any ideas guys.. B2 amp, Kenwood 562 hu

I would verify I had good power and ground to amp from battery then check for power to remote.
If all is good the amp should have an internal fuse that may have popped

Take the amp out of the equation and the radio still isn't working

I had that message on a double-din unit I installed. I disconnected the power wires and reconnected them and it went away...then sold the truck...lol

I assume I have it narrowed down to the HU itself. I unplugged every possible connection I could except the 3 wires from the HU harness to the axxis because they are soldered. I'm still getting the message, without anything else being hooked up I don't see what could be miswired

Try doing a factory reset on the hu.
Make sure none of your speaker outputs on the hu are grounding out, skinned, or pinched.
You could try putting a ground wire from the chassis of the hu to a grounded location on the bike. Some hus I had back in the car audio days were picky about having a chassis ground.
Make sure it has the latest firmware update.

Good luck. I know you need your Pantera when you're riding.

I didn't have any speaker wires hooked to the HU at all just the ones thay were connected to the axxis and it still says the same thing. I tried wiring the speakers directly to the HU and the way it was which is thru the amp and nothing.. However 2 times throughout the day it would work and as soon as I'd turn it off it would work again

Been awhile...which 3 are connected to the axxess? Hate to say it but maybe cut and resolder? Grasping at straws...

Not sure what I did but it's workin fine now.. I had everything disconnected for 2 days and went out this morning to re do everything, every u used wire is capped off and stuffed inside some loom.. Now I get to go back and redo all of the damn settings again which is my least favorite part lol
