Directions say to remove each speaker harness from stock speakers. Are they soldered?

Are you sure it is the harness from the speaker? or is it the harness from the pod,
from BT (Remove speaker harness from plastic speaker pods)

I understand you need to remove the positive and negative from speaker, but was not sure if you are referencing the removing of the harness from the pod.

Yes as Paul pointed out the black bracket is for the CB and bolts to the BT bracket. Now that I think of it I drill another hole in the CB bracket to move it back further to allow more room for wiring. Every little bit counts when you have to put the fairing back on.

I use Irfanview. Been using it for years, it's free, easy to use and much more powerful than MS Paint. Once installed open a photo and press F12 to bring up paint dialog and go from there.

With the BT Speaker and Bracket kit you can leave the speakers in the pods along with the wires . You won't be using them.

The plug on the line leveler will connect directly to the plugs that you disconnected when the pods were removed. See pic below.

Then the RCA cables will connect from the LL's to the RCA speaker Inputs on the AMP.

Next the speaker wires coming from the AMP outputs will connect directly to the speakers.

BertK I may have misread your post, but you need the stock harness off the speakers.

Stock speaker harness from out of the pod's

Mine are sitting in a box with the pods.

Those instructions are for installing the speakers and brackets only.

These are the instructions Dave needs to install the speaker and amp kit with the LL's. They do show a transformer rather than the LL's. The pic I posted of the LL and wiring instructions should make it clear.

Paul, did you get this LL with your kit for the front speakers?
