Changed the connectors to the right size for the Alpine SPR60's rear speakers still have distortion issue. However, I did switch the speakers left to right and the distortion followed the speaker. Thought it had to be a speaker issue, but I installed a brand new one and still have the problem. I am waiting on a call from Bill at BT. the distortion sound is hard to reproduce so it may have been effecting both speakers from the get go.

Spoke with Bill at BT, he suggests that the line levelers might need a little tweaking to work with the stock HU, which is not a good HU, but I like the NAV; so it stays. Bill is going to call me in the AM, and we will tweak the system to see if there is a solution. I will post results for anyone that may have or is going to have same set-up.

You may want to double check the polarity of the alpines. On the Harley the wide connector is negative on the Alpine the wide connector is positive. And as you already know the Alpines use a metric connector and the Harley uses an English connector. If the polarity is reversed it will cancel much of the audio.

For any new speaker I get that are not marked, I use a battery to check the polarity then mark them. You would think + & - would be a universal language.

Interesting, I went big to big. However, I can fade to the rear speakers and run it wide open with no distortion 99% of the time. I will ask Bill tomorrow, thanx for the heads up.

I installed Arc Moto 602's with V-Twin Audio adapters in the rear pods. No real issue with the Corbin seat, however the speakers would hit the shallow area of the pod itself. The fix is to remove the donut that comes on the speakers. Here a few pics and a couple of vid's.
